Are you proud to be Canadian? Every year the Canada Day Celebrations are in jeopardy of being cancelled due to the lack of volunteers. Volunteers do many things for the committee such as share ideas at planning meetings, organize or oversee the activities and assist with set up and clean up. Planning meetings are held once a month beginning in January until July. They are noon meetings with lunch provided. Currently Canada Day celebrations run from 12-4pm at Rahill Beach. All activities are free. Local community organizations run different booths such as face painting and relay races. If Canada Day is something you would like to be involved in, please come out and join us!
