The Manager/Business Development Coordinator

The Business Development Coordinator (BDC) handles the financial and business planning functions in the office. The foremost duty is to provide business advice to clients seeking financial and technical assistance for new and existing business ventures. A supervisory role is adopted for both the preparation of financial and business plans and the negotiations between clients and funding agencies.

In order to facilitate the creation of new businesses, the BDC supervises and coordinates all aspects of business proposals and loans. The BDC works closely with a Business Development Committee. They also liaise with the Economic Development Committee as it pertains to business opportunities, site selection, and financing programs. The BDC is a major player in the growth of business in the community.
