Held each year in July the Norseman Floatplane Festival celebrates Red Lakes aviation history and in particular the Norseman floatplane which has been flying from the waters of Red Lake since the mid 1930's. Today there are more Norseman aircraft in Red Lake than any other place in the world making Red Lake the Norseman Capital of the World. The 3-day festival includes static aircraft displays, water bombing and MNR forest fire fighting displays, street festival, beer gardens, pilots reunion, music, street performers, mining displays and more.

Red Lake Fall Classic

The Red Lake Fall Classic Walleye Fishing Tournament is held annually on the Labour Day weekend in September.  135 teams fish this catch and release tournament on the Red Lake waterway for cash, merchandise and the prestige of being number one.

Trout Forest Music Festival

The annual Trout Forest Music Festival held each August features a reflection of some of Northwestern Ontarios best performers with a mix of acts from across Canada. The camping and festival site is set on the shores of the English River on this historic Red Lake Gold Rush Trail. Bonfires that bring families together and musicians out of the woods is what Music in the Woods is all about.
