Beaches

KINSMEN BEACH has two access points, both with plenty of room for parking. There is lots of sand, playground equipment, and a picnic table.

Kinsmen Beach is located on Forestry Road in Red Lake. It is a south shore sandy beach and therefore is nice and sunny. This beach features swimming, a grassy picnic area, and washroom facilities.

Keesic Beach is the location of the Red Lake Anishinaabe Pow Wow held annually in June.

SANDY POINT BEACH is a unique beach that can only be accessed by boat. It is located in the Bruce Channel, between Cochenour and McKenzie Island. It has a long sand bar that allows you to walk way out into the channel. It has two designated fire pits which are perfect for enjoying s'mores or a roasted hot dog.
