The Community Development Committee has placed importance on Youth Retention and Attraction. In 2010, the CDC completed an extensive survey of youth living in Red Lake and youth that did live in Red Lake, but have relocated. The survey was designed to give the Committee insight into why some youth decide to stay in the community and other youth decide to leave, as well as what those youth who do live in Red Lake enjoy about the community and what they would like to see change.
