What is the Wilderness Artists Council?
The Wilderness Artists Council (WAC) formed in 2008 with the goal of highlighting the community's cultural and artistic assets and talents, as well as to getting the community more involved in the arts. WAC offers creative workshops, interesting and informative presentations, and provides an opportunity for people to become more expressive in a huge variety of ways. WAC encourages everyone to get involved - participate in or host a workshop. To learn more about the Wilderness Artists Council or get involved, email or join the WAC facebook group.
Arts, Heritage and Culture Directory
The Wilderness Artists Council's Arts, Heritage and Culture Directory aims to be an all-inclusive catalogue of the area's artists and arts resources. For those people interested in the arts or looking to locate an artist with a specific talent, the Directory can help you in your search. Red Lake and surrounding area has such a wealth of artistic talent and the Arts, Heritage and Culture Directory now provides an opportunity for these artists and associated resources to be highlighted.
