The Water Buffalo, located at #2 Hwy 105 on Howey Bay in Red Lake, serves as Red Lake’s most popular coffee shop. Tanna Rusk, the owner and Manager of the Water Buffalo first opened the establishment in July of 2002.
She invites you to come in for a cup of coffee, a specialty coffee or try one of the many varieties of teas. The Water Buffalo also sells water, which comes in a range of sizes, including 5 Gallon jugs. The coffee beans are locally roasted and the iced coffee is to die for. Water Buffalo also offers baked goods which are supplied by the Midnight Baker and sells Hemp products and various Handmade soaps. Local crafts are also available such as jewellery, glasswork and paintings.
Recent renovations to the store have allowed for a seating areas to be made, both indoors and outdoors, allowing customers to enjoy their drinks in a comfortable setting.
The Water Buffalo is open year round
Monday – Friday: 7am – 5pm
Saturday: 8am – 4pm
