The Red Lake Madsen Public School is located at 201 Howey Street in Red Lake. This building was originally built over 50 years ago and has since undergone a total transformation which was completed in 1996. The school is equipped with 14 classrooms, a full size gymnasium and built in stage, full service library, and a computer lab with up to date technology.
The Red Lake Madsen Public School offers a range of sports and activities to the students, including volleyball, basketball, and soccer, as well as other activities such as chess club, choir, and writer's club among others. The school also runs a unique program called Breakfast For Learning. This program runs every morning before school and is supported by local businesses through financial donations, kitchen tool donations, cooking and baking.
