Norseman Floatplane Festival
www.norsemanfestival.on.ca

Held each year in July the Norseman Floatplane Festival celebrates Red Lakes aviation history and in particular the Norseman floatplane which has been flying from the waters of Red Lake since the mid 1930's.  Today there are more Norseman aircraft in Red Lake than any other place in the world making Red Lake the Norseman Capital of the World.  The 3-day festival includes static aircraft displays, water bombing and MNR forest fire fighting displays, street festival, beer gardens, pilots reunion, music, street performers, mining displays and more.
