| Chukuni Communities Development Corporation Local Initiative Fund The Local Initiatives Program helps to -
strengthen and diversify the local enomomy; -
enhance the local communities; -
support local not-for-profit groups; and -
provide financial support to projects identified as priorities in the CCDC's strategic plan. The Local Initiatives Program is a grant which is provided by FedNor/Industry Canada to promote local economic development and community improvement projects. The Local Initiatives funding is intended for local (or regional) not-for-profit groups, only. -
How much can I apply for? LIP Applications requesting up to $5,000.00 can be distributed at the local level. Grants of up to $10,000 are available and are reviewed at a Federal level. -
What type of projects qualify? The Community Development Committee would like to receive applications for the following type of projects: To apply, download and print the LIP application form or pick-up a copy at the CCDC office at 137 Howey Street. -

Once your application is complete you can mail it to Box 250, Red Lake, ON, P0V 2M0 or drop it off at 137 Howey Street in Red Lake. -
Once your application is received, the Community Development Committee will review it and contact you with a decision.
