A Community Futures Development Corporation

  1. What is this fund?

This fund is a grant which is provided by FedNor/Industry Canada to promote local

community development projects.

2. How much can I apply for?

Grants of up to $5,000.00 each can be distributed at the local level.

  3. Who can apply? 

The applicant must be a not for profit group.

 4. What type of projects qualify? 

The Community Development Committee would

like to receive applications for the following type of projects:  

 - small capital projects 

 - pre-feasibility studies      

 - research projects

 - project administration

 - e-commerce promotion   

 - seminars/workshops

 - marketing/promotion   

 - community tourism     

 - entrepreneurship

 - new technology projects   

 - projects with an economic benefit to the region

 5. How do I apply? 

Call Chukuni at 727-3275 or drop in and we would be glad to give you an  application form.

Once your finished application  is received, the Community Development Committee will

review it and let you know.
